Rockets, Paint, Experiments, and Drama!

Today was another fantastic day at BCHE.  We made rockets in astronomy, painted impressionist paintings in art, learned about science with fun experiments from one of our students, and practiced our mini-play in drama.
Constructing a rocket.

More rocket construction.  We shot them off too, but we were too busy launching rockets to take any pictures  of it!  Since it was a windy day, the rockets kept blowing over.

However, later on in the day, the children decided to upgrade the rockets.  They used dry ice and water from their science experiments to fuel the rockets.  Brilliant!

This semester is flying by!  Isn't that what happens when you have so much fun?  We have visited the IMA and the State Museum, and we are looking forward to the IRT and a Star Gazing Party in April.  In this past Tuesday's classes, we were busy with hurricane tubes, painting, charades, decorating and eating cupcakes-- WOW!  What a great week!

Summer session planning will take place soon, and we are always thinking of new and fun classes for the next fall semester.  If you're interested in joining our co-op, email us!  We love meeting new families!
